Phoenix, Arizona (September 10, 2024) — Timney Triggers, the oldest and largest trigger manufacturer in the world, has been asked to design an upgraded trigger for Marlin Lever Action centerfire rifles. Our engineers looked at this popular hunting rifle and concentrated on what modern shooters are looking for in a great trigger – we are thrilled to announce the new Timney Lever Action Trigger for Marlin Lever Guns.

Whether you’re a cowboy action shooter, a Sunday afternoon plinker, or an avid hunter, the old saying still applies: “A fine rifle is no better than it’s trigger”. If you’re aiming to be more accurate with your rifle, then Timney has you covered with an innovative, reliable, and consistent trigger that will assist in the platform you choose.

The Timney Lever Action Trigger is easy to install and features a non-adjustable, factory set pull weight of 3 – 3.5 pounds. Our engineers found a way to eliminate the notorious trigger flop, so with this new trigger, you will experience the exceptionally crisp and smooth feel one expects from a Timney Trigger.

All components of this complete trigger assembly are wire EDM cut to ensure all parts hold the tightest tolerances. The trigger shoe, sear, and hammer strut are cut from A2 tool steel and are hardened for remarkable wear resistance. The hammer is cut from S7 tool steel that is hardened for shock-resistance and long-last strength. The whole trigger assembly was designed and manufactured to last a lifetime of dependable service.

The Timney Lever Action Trigger is available in two finishes – black and nickel-plated – to match historical rifles and modern stainless-steel versions. The trigger assembly is compatible with Marlin Model 336®, Marlin Model 1895®, and Marlin Model 1894®.
