Shoot-On Gear Spotlight: TRUGLO Ignite 30mm Red Dot with Mount

TRUGLO’s new Ignite 30mm Red Dot was designed for AR-15 shooters who desire a robust and full-featured red dot optic while retaining compatibility with standard open backup sights.

Built on a CNC-machined, aircraft-grade aluminum housing, the Ignite 30mm delivers a wide-view 30mm objective lens with unlimited eye relief for quick, uncluttered target acquisition. The red dot is 2 MOA in size, meaning it covers a two-inch bullseye at 100 yards. It’s an optimal size for tight aiming at distance while ensuring ample visibility for fast, close-quarter shooting.

Activating the red dot are two digital push-button brightness controls. Simply depress the + or – button located on the top-left side of the housing to turn on the red dot. The buttons then provide eight brightness settings to deliver just the right illumination level for the target or the ambient light conditions. Other convenience features include an auto shut-off after a four-hour idle to preserve battery life and a “power level save” that recalls the last brightness setting when the unit is turned on. A single AAA battery powers the Ignite 30mm.

Windage and elevation adjustment comes in 1/2 MOA increments to quickly achieve zero. Adjustment is toolless thanks to the adjustment tabs integrated into the machined aluminum turret covers.

To allow the Ignite 30mm to work with backup sights, a cantilever Picatinny rail mount comes with the optic. This mount permits absolute co-witness with standard backup iron sights. Flip-up lens caps are also included.
