Rare Breed FRT-SG3 Trigger Joins B&T SPC9, GHM9 Platforms

Rare Breed Triggers and B&T USA have announced a factory-integration program pairing the Rare Breed FRT-SG3 forced reset trigger with B&T’s SPC9 and GHM9 firearm platforms.

Under the partnership, FRT-SG3-equipped SPC9 and GHM9 models will be assembled and tested on B&T USA’s production line. The companies say the arrangement is intended to provide customers with a complete, factory-configured system rather than an aftermarket trigger installation.

The FRT-SG3 uses a three-position selector providing Safe, Semi and Forced Reset modes. According to Rare Breed, the mechanism resets the trigger after each shot and prevents it from being pulled again until the bolt carrier group has returned to battery.

Factory integration may appeal to buyers who prefer a complete firearm assembled and inspected by the original platform manufacturer. It also gives B&T and Rare Breed control over installation, production consistency and function testing before the firearm leaves the factory.
