It’s hard to swing a dead cat without hitting a red dot optic in a gun store. Ideally suited for ARs or pistols sporting Picatinny rails, red dots deliver a fast and clear sight picture and a pinpoint aiming solution that is perfect for hunting, steel, or close quarter defense.

The 22mm Ignite Mini is one red dot that satisfies a broad range of applications. We’ve used it on hunting revolvers with great success in the hog swamps and it sits ready and able on our workshop AR (you know…the one we keep behind the bench). From our experience, the Ignite Mini is reliable, easy to operate, and best of all for our AR needs, the included high-rise mount allows it to co-witness with our flip-up backup sights.

Built on a CNC-machined aluminum housing, the Ignite Mini has a comfortable 22mm multi-coated objective lens. Not too big, not too small…just right. Turn it on and you’ll find a 2 MOA red dot with 10 illumination settings to match varying lighting conditions. When you turn it on, the system recalls the last illumination setting, so there’s no need to adjust if you are comfortable where you left off. Speaking of off, the system shuts down automatically after being idle for four hours, eliminating accidental battery drain.

As mentioned, the Ignite Mini comes with a high and a low mounting base that works with Picatinny/Weaver rails mounting systems. The low mount is ideal for revolvers or designated target rifles. For defensive platforms, roll with the high mount and add back-up sights for no-fail performance.
