Iosso has introduced a 6.5 Creedmoor chamber cleaning brush designed for precision cleaning of the rifle chamber. According to the manufacturer, the brush is sized to chamber tolerances for more thorough contact with fouling and residue.
The brush uses thick, stiff blue Nyflex fibers intended to retain their shape while providing non-scratch cleaning. A solid shank and standard cleaning-rod threads allow it to work with commonly used cleaning rods.
Dedicated chamber brushes can provide more complete contact with the shoulder, neck and other chamber surfaces than general-purpose bore brushes. That makes the Iosso brush a potentially useful addition for shooters who want a caliber-specific tool for routine rifle maintenance.
Iosso states that the brush, when used with its Triple Action Oil and Bore Cleaner, will remove accumulated fouling. As with any chamber-cleaning tool, proper rod alignment and moderate pressure remain important to avoid unnecessary wear.
