Irving, TX – Cold Steel, manufacturer and innovator of purpose-built knives and blade tools for everyday carry, tactical, hunting and outdoor applications, has launched a new series of folding lockback knives designed for discrete, comfortable carry while ensuring maximum performance when you need it.

The new Code 4 series folders are engineered to be exceptionally slim and lightweight so they won’t be a burden in the pocket or the load-out harness but will stand up to rigorous cutting chores. Each Code 4 knife weighs a mere 4.3 ounces with an overall open length of 8.5 inches.

Featuring ultra-thin yet strong 6061 aluminum handles hard-anodized in gunmetal gray, the Code 4 knives boast high-satin, razor-sharp American CPM S35VN steel blades. Available blade profiles include tanto point, clip point, and spear point. Incorporated into each knife is Cold Steel’s proven Tri-Ad® locking mechanism developed to withstand blade pressures exceeding industry standards.

Ergonomic features of the Code 4 knives go beyond their light weight and slim design. Finger grooves provide a comfortable and secure grip to assist in blade control and ambidextrous thumb studs make for swift, one-hand deployment. The pocket clip is also ambidextrous, allowing the user to secure the knife in the location that is most convenient.
