Hogue Knives has expanded its Counterstrike lineup with the Hogue Micro Counterstrike OTF automatic knife, a compact model that builds on the previously introduced Collector Series Micro Counterstrike. The new versions combine a 1.95-inch blade with a polymer cover to reduce weight while retaining the basic design and double-action out-the-front (OTF) operating format.

The Micro Counterstrike is aimed at users who want the Counterstrike platform in a smaller package. Hogue offers the knife with CPM MagnaCut stainless steel blades in black stonewash or stone-tumbled finishes.

The polymer-cover construction distinguishes these Micro Counterstrike models from the earlier Collector Series version while helping keep overall weight to 1.8 oz. That combination of a sub-2-inch blade and lightweight construction puts the knife into a more compact segment of the automatic-knife market without abandoning the materials used in Hogue’s larger premium models.
Hogue specifies CPM MagnaCut steel heat-treated to 62–64 HRC, a combination intended to support edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. As with any automatic knife, owners should verify applicable state and local laws governing possession and carry.
