Timney’s standout Alpha Competition trigger system for GLOCK gets even better for those who want an alternative to the traditional blade-style trigger safety.
by the Shoot ON staff
One of Timney’s secrets to success and its strong 80-year history of servicing the needs of hunters and competitive shooters is listening closely to customers and delivering what they want.
When asked for a GLOCK trigger option without a finger safety blade, the company’s engineers went to work to design a trigger shoe with an internal pivoting finger safety. Now customers can choose an Alpha Competition trigger for Timney’s GLOCK series that includes the conventional trigger blade safety or the new pivoting trigger shoe safety design.
Both designs ensure the reliability of the GLOCK system while maintaining the same great feel of a Timney trigger. And true to Timney’s DIY promise, these triggers can be installed easily with no gunsmith needed.
The new trigger is offered with both the Alpha Competition trigger and the Ultimate Builder’s Kit for GLOCK.
