If you’re anything like us, you have more handguns than you have holsters for them. Sure, nothing is stopping you from buying a model-specific holster for every gun you have, but it’s going to cost some coin to do so. The easy (read: inexpensive) solution many folks take is to buy universal holsters that generally fit one or more of their firearms. But just like a shotgun or rifle length-of-pull set by gun manufacturers, a universal holster “fits OK” for most guns in its class size but doesn’t fit any of them well.

Recognizing the need for a cost-effective holster that will fit a wide range of handguns as well as readily adapt to both inside and outside waistband carry depending on the need, N8 Tactical, a CrossBreed Holsters brand, developed the new MultiFlex holster.

The MultiFlex is made of durable polypropylene and utilizes rubber spacers and Chicago screws to provide custom fitment for slides of various sizes and makes. Further, two adjustable retention sliders apply pressure to the trigger guard and bottom of the frame/receiver to ensure a precise fit and optimal retention — taking out all fore/aft or side-to-side movement of the gun.

Not only is the holster adaptable to over 275 different pistols currently on the market, it also accommodates suppressor-height sights and pistols with mounted optics.

Another selling point of the MultiFlex holster is its ability to work in either an IWB or an OWB configuration. Each holster comes with OWB and IWB belt loops that are easily swapped by removing two screws per side, making the MultiFlex adaptable for different carry needs. For those who favor a paddle-style carry, the holster comes with 1.5-inch hole spacing so you can add a paddle (not included).

Finally, the MultiFlex comes with a built-in 12-degree forward cant (no cant adjustability), which we’ve found to be quite comfortable and conducive to fast draws.
