Franchi’s Instinct Sideplate O/U 12- and 20-Gauge models were an instant success with seasoned upland hunters. For 2023, Franchi sweetens the Sideplate lineup by adding a pair of new sub-gauge models to the family — the Instinct Sideplate 16-Gauge and Instinct Sideplate 28-Gauge.
Franchi’s Sideplate-style shotguns take shooters back to when European gunsmiths designed firearms to capture the eye and imagination while providing a second-to-none shooting experience. Showcasing sleek lines, lustrous AA-Grade walnut, gold inlaid game scenes, and blued barrels, this new duo promises remarkable handling and, when shouldered, a balance even veteran O/U shooter will appreciate.
The new Instinct Sideplate shotguns in 16- and 28-gauge come chambered in 2 ¾ and 3 inches. Each gun comes with auto ejectors, barrel selectors, auto safety, C, IC, M, IM, and F extended chokes, and a custom-fitted hard case for safe transport to and from the field.
