XS Sights has expanded its handgun sight lineup with a pre-drilled XS Tritium Standard Dot sight for Ruger SP101 revolvers. The front sight is designed as a factory sight upgrade for shooters who want faster visual pickup without changing the revolver’s overall profile.

The sight uses a tritium lamp surrounded by a green or orange photoluminescent Glow Dot. That dual-illumination setup gives the front sight a high-contrast aiming reference in bright light while maintaining visibility in low-light conditions.

“Our Tritium Standard Dot front sights are pre-drilled for easier installation and made of durable steel to withstand rugged use in the field,” said Jeff King, Marketing Manager, XS Sights. “They are designed to enhance the performance of everyday carry guns and give gun owners peace of mind that the front sight will be visible when they need it most.”
For small-frame defensive revolvers such as the Ruger SP101, the front sight does much of the work. A sight that is easier to find under mixed lighting can help support a cleaner draw-to-sight picture, particularly for everyday carry or field use where lighting and backgrounds are not controlled.
The XS Tritium Standard Dot sight keeps the revolver’s profile close to factory dimensions while adding a more visible aiming reference. Its pre-drilled design is also intended to simplify installation compared to fitting an undrilled replacement sight.
MSRP for the XS Tritium Standard Dot sight for Ruger SP101 revolvers is $75.99.
