Franchi Adds Varmint Rifle to Momentum Elite Family

Franchi’s first foray into bolt-action rifles was a huge success with the introduction of the Momentum rifle. New models have been introduced with updated features and performance to create the Momentum Elite line. Franchi adds another rifle to the family with the Momentum Elite Varmint Rifle. Chambered in popular varmint calibers, the latest iteration features an all-new stock designed specifically for varmint hunting and covered in the versatile OPTIFADE Subalpine camo.

The three new caliber offerings highlight three preferred varmint rounds ideal for taking down small game. Chambered in .223 Rem., .22-250 Rem. and .224 Valkyrie, the Momentum Elite Varmint rifle pairs accurate rounds with precision shooting on a dependable platform.

Designed specifically for varmint hunting, the rugged EVOLVED EGONOM-X synthetic stock features a removable cheek rest and checkered-polymer grip for a custom fit to individual shooters. A TSA recoil butt pad takes the bite out long days of shooting by reducing felt recoil by up to 50 percent. A one-piece picatinny rail sits atop the receiver for easy optic mounting.

Varmint hunting requires precise shooting and the Momentum Elite Varmint rifle achieves MOA accuracy by pairing a heavy, spiral-fluted barrel covered in weather-resistant, glare-reducing Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish with the RELIA TRIGGER; adjustable from 2-4 pounds for crisp breaks. A muzzle break covers the end of the treaded barrel helping reduce muzzle rise for quick follow-up shots. Identical to the original Momentum Elite, the varmint model’s RELIA Bolt sports three large locking lugs with a 60-degree throw for fast and smooth cycling. The new varmint rifle comes with a flush-mount magazine along with an extended magazine for high-volume shooting.
