Chiappa USA has announced the 1911 Field Special 250th Independence Edition, a limited-production .45 ACP pistol built to commemorate 250 years of American independence.

The pistol is based on Chiappa’s full-size 1911 Field platform and will be available exclusively through Chattanooga Shooting Supply. Production is limited to 250 pistols, each configured with commemorative styling aimed at collectors, enthusiasts, and dealers.

The edition pairs a Blue Navy Cerakote® finish with a laser-etched commemorative design. Mechanically, it stays close to the traditional 1911 formula: single-action operation, steel construction, a 5-inch barrel, and .45 ACP chambering.
