February 2019 (Dallas, TX)– Rival Arms™, manufacturer of precision handgun components for do-it-yourself firearm enthusiasts, has announced that the company’s match-grade precision slides for select 3rd and 4th Gen GLOCK®pistols are now available through its distributors and local firearms dealers.

 

Rival Arms™slides for GLOCK®handguns represent the apex of match-grade components designed and engineered for serious shooters who demand the highest level of performance and accuracy in their DIY custom builds.

 

Each Rival Arms™slide begins with 17-4PH stainless-steel billet for maximum durability and corrosion-resistance. The billets are then CNC-machined to exacting tolerances to ensure precise, smooth operation. Integrated into the design are aggressive front and rear serrations for positive slide manipulation under high-stress or competitive situations. Three-position cutouts along the sides and top of the slide reduce weight and promote more efficient cooling of the barrel. In addition to the stainless-steel construction, each slide is QPQ (Quench-Polish-Quench) thermo-chemical case-hardened to resist normal- to hard-use wear.

 

Two versions of the Rival Arms™GLOCK®upgrade slides are available with optic cuts compatible for Trijicon®RMR sights or for other brand optics, including TRU•TEC™MICRO, EOTech®, Doctor USA®, Insight®, Meopta®, and Vortex®Viper. A no-optic-cut version is also offered for the subcompact GLOCK®43.

 

Rival Arms offers precision upgrade slides for both 3rd and 4th Gen GLOCK®17, 19, 26, and 34 pistols, as well as the GLOCK®43. These upgrade slides can be installed easily by the consumer with no gunsmith work required, and all slides come with a limited lifetime warranty.
